Manchester City Fc is a Premier League football club at Manchester, England. Founded in 1880 as a St. Mark's (West Gorton), they turned Ardwick Association Fc on 1887 then Manchester City in 1894.
A team has played in the Area of Manchester Stadium as 2003, having played on Maine Road by 1923. A team's most successful moment was in the later 60s and earlier seventies when they achieved the League Championship, FA Cup, League Cup along with European Cup Winners' Cup under the management team of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison.
After surrendering a 1981 FA Cup Final, a club went through a time of drop, culminating on relegation for the third level of English football for the only period in their history in 1998. Having obtained Premier League status, the team has been bought in '08 by Abu Dhabi United Organization and it has turn out to be one of the wealthiest in the world.
In the year 2011, Manchester City experienced to the UEFA Champions League and gained the FA Cup. The following year, they received a Premier League, their first league title of 44 seasons plus the first Premier League title for the club which have took part in the third tier for English football as 1980. In 2014, they won a League Trophy and the 2nd Premier League championship.
